The people behind
numerical knowledge.
Meet 22 current MSNM members and explore their expertise in numerical methods, computational engineering and applied science.
Research grows through a community.
Numerical methods are developed and applied across many fields. Meaningful exchange depends on people who can connect mathematical formulations, experimental observations, computational tools and practical engineering questions.
The Members page brings these professional connections together. The 22 people in this directory have been members of MSNM since its establishment in 2017. Their areas of expertise reflect the society’s academic and professional community.

Members and society leadership.
MSNM’s organisational leadership should be recorded by a clearly identified elected or appointed term, with office, name and dates supported by official records. Membership in this directory does not itself establish any Council appointment or membership grade.
Council appointments are therefore listed separately only when their terms are confirmed. Under Clause 8(1) of the Constitution, the Council comprises a President, Deputy President, six Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, twelve Fellow committee members and the immediate past President. Names and terms of office should only be published upon confirmation from authorised society records.
Connect with the MSNM community.
Membership enquiries
The Constitution recognises four membership grades: Honorary, Fellow, Ordinary and Student. Ordinary membership applications require a proposer and seconder who are existing members and are subject to Council approval (Clause 4). Contact MSNM for the applicable procedure and current fees.
Enquire about membership ↗Academic collaboration
Researchers and educators can enquire about joint discussions, scholarly exchange, workshops or collaborative opportunities within the society’s remit.
Start a conversation ↗Professional engagement
Industry practitioners and institutional partners can contact MSNM about numerical analysis, knowledge-sharing programmes and potential technical exchanges.
Contact the society ↗Keeping member profiles accurate.
The 22 profiles represent members of MSNM since its establishment in 2017. Academic titles and institutional affiliations may change over time; relevant updates have been made when supported by available institutional sources.
Profiles retain the original member order and specialist interests. Personal email addresses have been omitted from these cards pending publication consent; society-level contact channels remain available.
Portrait files are the same images supplied for the MSNM website project. If any portrait is unsuitable for republication, it should be corrected or removed promptly.
