Welcome to the official website of the Malaysian Society for Numerical Methods (MSNM).
…
MSNM is a professional society registered under the Registry of Societies Malaysia,
established on 16 November 2017. The society is dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and applications of numerical methods and computational technologies for national development.
We aim to support innovation and collaboration in computational science, particularly in areas involving numerical analysis, simulation, and computational mechanics.

Malaysian Society for Numerical Methods promotes advancement of numerical methods through research, education, and collaboration across academia, industry, and government sectors.

MSNM organizes workshops, conferences, training programs, and seminars to support learning, professional development, and collaboration in computational and numerical sciences.

MSNM shares research outputs, journals, books, proceedings, and educational materials, including computational tools and numerical method learning resources for wider access.

Get in touch with MSNM for collaboration, inquiries, or membership. Connect with us and follow updates through our official Facebook page.
our latest ACTIVITy

Dr Airil Yasreen Mohd Yassin is offering a free online Finite Element Method (FEM) course designed to build strong foundations in numerical methods and computational mechanics. Starting on 3 June, classes will be held every Wednesday, 9:00–11:00 PM, over approximately 12 weeks. The course begins from first principles, making it suitable for beginners, and follows the team’s FEM textbooks. It also provides a pathway to more advanced topics, including meshless methods, NURBS, and the Numerical Derivation Method (NDM).
Participants will receive:

Free PDF of the FEM textbooks

Membership in WhatsApp group

Access to recorded sessions

Exposure to advanced topics
